The 1991 New Economic Policy rid out the farmers from their own lands. India, an agrarian economy looses its domination over the agricultural sector year by year. Past Indian decade witnessed numerous farmer suicides, many not even recorded by officials. Cliche, but a rare view from our paddy fields.
